Purpose of position :
Responsible to provide Planning and cost Engineering discipline support for WTP project and interface projects in (the company recruiting) as per company requirements.
Key Responsibility :
-
Develop and update the program / integrated project schedule for the projects and interface tasks
-
Use Microsoft Project / Primavera (preferable) as project planning and control tool.

Review & optimise the resource planning for the timely completion of the project.

Monitor contractor’s schedule, actual duration and logistic activities.
-
Review, validate, and integrate project progress and status reports submitted by contractor
-
Optimise plans with respect to resource utilisation, risk mitigation, change & variance analysis.

Prepare regular monthly progress reports for the projects/ program, and interface
-
Develop and maintain ( AFE authorisation For Expenditure ???) type cost control mechanism, and manage project costs for all phases of projects
-
Be the focal point for all invoice processing activities, cash flow analysis, and cost management.

Implement cost control requirements into contractual documents, and ensure their compliance for all types of contracts.

Evaluation of bids, their normalization, and assist approval for necessary procurements and contacts.

Assure regular reports to support effective cost control as per forecast, and approved AFEs for the project and work packages.

Manage variation orders as per change management procedure, and present variation orders expected in time for necessary approvals.

Provide full cost engineering, work management, analysis and cost control guidance to budget holders and managers.

Monitor and manage project procurement, assuring materials quality and deliveries.

Administer contracts related to engineering and project activities.

Carry out quality checks on base estimates included in CAPEX and OPEX forecast expenditures.

Ensure all commitment and expenditures are allocated correctly to budget cost centres.
Minimum required qualification :
Education: University degree Bachelor
Subject of education: Finance or relevant field strongly preferred..
Relevant professional experience: Minimum 5 years in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting with knowledge in the use of MS Project and primavera Scheduling softwares is highly advantageous.
