Purpose of position :

Support the project team in the verification, review, amendment and approval of the engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibility :

• Verify, amend and approve the following deliverables.

• Process Description , Process Design Criteria and Calculation Reports
• Item List
• Process Flow Diagrams ( PFD) and Heat & Material Balance (H&MB)
• Material Selection Report
• Piping & Instruments Diagrams (P& ID)
• Causes & Effects Matrix and Process Control Narrative
• Instruments Process Data
• Control, ON/OFF and Safety Valves Process Data
• Equipment Data Sheets and Package Duty Specifications
• Relief Load Summary
• Process Electrical Load List
• Utility Summary and Chemicals Consumption List
• Pre-commissioning & Commissioning Manual
• Start-up and Test Run procedures
• Operating Manual,
• And all others required deliverables
• Provide technical information and review on other disciplines documents as per internal document distribution matrix,
• Review vendor documents/ data to check their conformity with design aspects,
• Support construction groups in terms of required back up document and / or any technical question or queries raised from construction team,
• Control the schedule of the activities performed and report to project Engineering Manager about the actual status of activities,
• Attend HAZID, HAZOP and risks assessment meetings and ensure all raised points in these meetings have been closed

Minimum required qualification :

Education: BSc/MSc degree

Subject of education: Process Engineering

Relevant professional experience: Minimum 5 years in the above mentioned key responsibilities.

Others:

• Good Knowledge in English and software related to process discipline
• Expert Knowledge of applicable international standards, plant design specifications & philosophies, statutory regulations & requirements for safety & environment.
• Familiar with development of process engineering design documents e.g PFD, UFD, P&ID, plant layouts etc.
• Strong Communication skills and active team player.
